I wondered the same thing Pal.

The yellow front bumper could indicate some sort of municipal
or military service vehicle and the yellow registration plate
on the vehicle in the background is also typical for a service
vehicle both civilian and military in the UK.

The rest of the answer is probably what is on the disc on the
front of the vehicle that seems to have been masked.

I don't believe the photo was taken in the UK, but it's possible. In any case the vehicle does not hail from there.

Based on a '65 VW Bus chassis fitted c. '73 with an aluminium body by Keller Karoserie Lampertheim
possibly a few built , this actual one got much modified by Ben Lewis in UK , bodydropped/channelled
narrowed front beam ,air shocks all round , much head scratching at the Volksworld show 2012 where it
made its debut

They "slammed" it, in other words lowered the ride height. I don't mind if they do it on a beetle or Transporter, but why on such a rare vehicle?
