A two point puzzle. One point if you can name the designer/ builder of this body, the car it was intended to clothe and the year it was made, and another point for anyone that can show me a photograph of the completed car

Invasion of the Body Snatchers!  :D
You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!

I've been puzzling over this for days!
The body reminds me most of the Pegaso Z102, but they didn't have the reversed A-pillars here.

barrett

I think this one is pretty obscure... There's no Pegaso connection, though there is certainly some resemblance

Overdue for a move upwards

The man behind the shape is of German origin, but the body was intended to fit a chassis from another country...

Allemano

Eastern European country?

RayTheRat

Made for a Citroen 2cv?

Body for Fiat 1100 TV by Luigi Colani (the guy with the cap), 1955

I don't know whether the picture at the bottom right shows a complete enough car for the second point.  ;D

barrett

Very well done Wendax!

This is indeed a very early attempt at car styling by Mr.Colani - perhaps even his first - meant for the Fiat 1100 running gear. This was so early in his career that he wasn't even 'Luigi' Colani yet, he was still known as Lutz.

I'd like to award you the second point, but I think I will hold back as an added incentive for someone to find me a picture showing the whole completed car (if indeed it ever was completed)
