The picture has the appearance of a design study, with very little detail or hardware visible.
I realize that certain details such as mirrors would be removed by the puzzlemaker in the spirit of making a better puzzle. So my question is, are we looking at a real steel/plastic/rubber car, or a facsimile (clay or 2D rendering)?

You are looking at an 'Advanced experimental model'. Only question that remains now is: Of what model?
Except for a badge on the front fender and some cars in the background that I removed, the photo is unaltered.
