I don't know any details about this car, other than it's a 1950 Riley RMC cabriolet with bodywork by Verheul of Waddinxveen, in the Netherlands, who I think are principally known for making buses.

Verheul was a coach builder, that turned to busses, like many of it's competitors. They made some trucks under the Verheul brand, after Amsterdam-based company Kromhout stopped making trucks. Verheul used to be a big coach bulder for Kromhout with cabs for trucks and bus bodies on Kromhout-chassis. It was taken over by Leyland in the 60's, but a big fire made an end to the production of busses.

Design of the Verheul body seems to be by Cees Akkermans of carrosseriebedrijf Akkermans

I think you're right, but have to check it at home later.
