From picturehistory.com...

Ralph Mulford, who holds the world's record for the longest continuous trip in an automobile - 1,819 miles in 24 hours - is shown at the wheel of a Hudson super-six at Universal City. Seated with Mulford is Richard Kennerdell, a Pennsylvania oil magnate and chairman of the contest board of the American Automobile Association. Standing by the car are Edsel Ford, son of Henry Ford, and young Mrs. Ford, who were visiting Universal City while on their honeymoon trip.

Anybody know anything about Ralph Mulford doing 1000 mile in a little over 11 hours in a Chandler car at the Culver City speedway in 1925?
