I believe it's a 1935ish Railton, with Hudson Terraplane underpinnings...

Yes. I hate vague answers..but yes, you are pretty close..so a point for Aaron65.  1934 Railton Terraplane 8 - Railton car co. Fairmiles, England. Aluminum body by John Charles ltd.-Kew England...1934 Hudson chassis/drivetrain 254 cid.  v8 Sorry for the error. Inline 8, is much better & correct.

I didn't mean to be vague.  It's a straight 8 by the way, not a V8.  Hudson didn't have a V8 until the 50s, and it wasn't of their own design at that point.  There was a nice article on a privately owned Railton in Hemmings Classic Car a couple of months ago.
