The point is yours. But I can't find any evidence anywhere of this car being called "Long-Life Car", so what was the correct designation?

Porsche FLA



The specifications are wrong. It had a throttled 2,5l engine with 75HP.

FLA stands for „Forschungs-Projekt Langzeit-Auto“ Translated: research project long-term car
In Gregory Janitzki's book "Cars Europe Never Built" it's mentioned as PORSCHE LONG-LIFE CAR.

That might be so, but Porsche called it the FLA. Just look at the sign in the background of the picture on the car. I'd rather listen to Porsche's own engineers than Gregory Janitzki (no offense, Gregory)...

Agree. Unfortunately this book isn't very reliable. It was my very first book of that subject. In much cases it's too superficially researched. As I started to have an interest in concept cars it was my Holy Bible, but after I got more experienced I only enjoyed the nice pics...
