It reminds me about the french Mega Track from 15 years ago. Mega Track was a big 4 seat coupé with a 6-litre Mercedes V12 and AWD. Maybe this is a prototype for the Mega Track?

You're quite right. It is a prototype - I was hoping that the fact that the styling is a bit different would mislead you, but the combination of a sleek body and offroad wheels is just a bit too rare...

Yes, you're both right but neither of you have given the full answer and since it's a re-post I'm going to merge this one without awarding any points.

I wanted the name 'Aixam' somewehre and it's actually the Belle de Savoie prototype, although neither of those names appear in the heading of the original puzzle hence it did not show up on the search...
