Quite a beauty.

For one point, please respond and identify this truck and tell me for which purpose it was built.

Very good, indeed. It is an Opel Blitz. But what was it built for?

Do the flags on the front fenders have a corporate significance?

A little hint: I modified the flags as there was an emblem in the middle that would lead to the solution.

Is the year 1931 significant to the puzzle?
Thank you for the hint, would those flags have been blue and white with a manufacturer name in the middle?

One question per post, please!

Significant to the puzzle is another year of the 1930s.

The colour scheme of the flags is not blue and white. The flags carry an emblem in the middle which contains the manufacturer name.

OPEL Blitz 2,5to

It's a factory truck with a "Fliegende Werksschule"(flying workshop) in it.

It was for the formations of the Opel's dealers workers.

I was in doubt, if it was an Opel at all, to be true...

Strangely enough it looks like it was a converted Citroen truck!

I´ve searched for a hires photo and found one.

Does anybody have a front view?

This cooler mask looks absolutly like a Citroen truck front with the significant upper lines of the doubles chevrons clearly visible...
