This is quite interesting. Back in the 1920s, Lóránd Méray-Horváth, who set up the Méray Motorcycle company in Budapest in 1923 bought a Lafitte in France. His son described its friction drive to me. The Méray company apparently created a touring car prototype, based on the Lafitte. Though the photo is dated 1924, I believe this happened a bit later, around 1928.

As for the puzzle car, is that a 7 HP model?

Wendax

Very interesting. Did it have the Lafitte radial three cylinder engine?

As for the puzzle car, it is not a 7 CV. Slightly less  ;)

I don't think the Méray had a radial engine.

As for the puzzle car, there was a Model D with that 736 cc engine. Is that the one which is pictured?

Yes, I think so. The brochure I took this picture from calls it a 6 CV, but it has the same engine as the Model D and looks like it.

One more point for you.
