Solved: Wendax 292 - Homebuilt car on a Peugeot 403 base
« on: August 08, 2011, 02:05:18 AM »
A little bit of everything.

For one point, please tell me the base car and two other cars that have donated parts.

DKW/Auto Union roof and rear window, VW front wings.  Is the base car a Trabant an Opel Olympia?

You are right about the VW front wings.
The roof/window section is not from a DKW and the base car is neither a Trabant nor an Opel.

Peugeot 403 hubcaps?
Not only the hubcaps are from a Peugeot 403, but it is the technical base of this car.
Locked for you to find one more parts supplying car, Mr. Eagle-Eye  ;)

Surely it's a Bitza-rini, with bitza this and bitza that ;D

On a more serious note, is the roof section from a LLoyd Alexander?

Perhaps, but a Goliath 1100 wouldn't.

Yes, that's where the roof comes from. Hereby I declare this puzzle solved, as the base car (Peugeot 403) and two part supplying cars (VW Beetle and Goliath 1100) have been found. And the point goes to Djetset for finishing it off, congratulations.

The car is said to have been built in the Netherlands. Some more pictures:
