This one is an East German IFA F10 from around 1950. The bodywork is by Baur.

It is a F 10 from 1949/1950 and the coachwork is from Baur, but it is not an IFA. Locked for you to find the right make.

Some sources say it's a DKW, but the Beaulieu Encyclopedia of the Motorcar identifies an identical-looking car as an IFA. Since IFAs and DKWs weren't much different in the early postwar years, there might be some confusion.

Wendax

It is a DKW F10, built in Western Germany, only 196 cars built, mainly for export.

After the DKW F89 Meisterklasse was introduced at Ingolstadt, Baur supplied about 250 of these bodies to East German IFA for their IFA F8.
In addition, Baur sold these bodies to refurnish prewar DKW F8 chassis.
