Phoenix land speed record truck based on a 1943 International Harvester K 7 truck.
It's builders/drivers were R.B. Slagle and Carl Heap.
It is powered by Detroit Diesel 16V92 engine of 1472 cubic inches with 4 turbo chargers and produces in excess of 4,000 HP.
It weighs over 18,000 pounds and used aircraft tyres from Boeing 737 and 747's with 707 nose wheel tyres being used on the front wheels.
It broke the world speed record for a diesel powered truck in 2003 at Bonneville achieving 272.685 mph.
