Who is he, and what car can he be associated with?

Art and cars. Painters, writers, musicians, actors, movie makers: in a nutshell, artists. Cars of special importance in their work, or in their life.
This is a 2 points puzzle, one for the artist, one for the car. Rule is: you identify the artist, you have one week to find the car. After that, the hunt is opened and anyone can rob you of your second point.

If you haven't registered yet, you need to do so in order to reply with your answer.
Also, please be sure to check out our other puzzles, and, please post a puzzle of your own if you'd like - the more, the merrier.

Thanks!

Are you left speechless? Two clues to help you:
1) although this fellow's art is one of the Seven Arts, its' not one of those listed above.
2) what he had to do with the car you have to find was much more than owning it, driving it, or using it in any kind of work of art.

It is Walter Gropius! And I guess you've got the Adler Standard 6/8 in mind, that had been designed by the master himself..

Fast and perfect!
So the clues were:
1) although this fellow's art is one of the Seven Arts, its' not one of those listed above. An architect
2) what he had to do with the car you have to find was much more than owning it, driving it, or using it in any kind of work of art. He designed it
Probably the cleanest design of that period.

unfortunately none of the cars has survived and they hadn't been a commercial success at all.
