Not what you usually connect with stretch limo lifestyle.

For one point, please respond and identify the car (or is it a bus?   :D ), the coachbuilder and the year.

The old 081 was a repost. So I have changed pictures.

Just for the records and to avoid confusion: the old Wendax 081 puzzle was the Peugeot 504 Coupe E27 by Pininfarina. I didn't find it, because I had it as a 505  :o , but it was a repost:

There's a couple of possible answers for this one. It's a 1946-8 Chevrolet 8 door limo.  I found one online built by National.  I found another one built for the Union Pacific Railroad, but the builder was unknown.  I found another builder of these cars for military purposes called the Fitzjohn corporation, but that was had no doorhandles on the middle doors.  I'll guess this is the National.

Wendax

It is not National. Don't look too much at the doors, look at the seats, and the solution is easy.

1937 knightstown Gallahad airport limousine.

Is it Fitzjohn?  If so, that would make this Chevy, most likely, a 1942 model.

Yes, it is made by Fitzjohn, and the base model is a 1942 Chevrolet. Locked for you to find the specific name of this body.

Model 100 "Stretchout" Master Sedan, offered in 11 and 15 passenger models--this is probably a 15 passenger.

EDIT: In some ads, it was called the "War Workers Coach."

Wendax

Yes, the War Workers Coach is the name I was looking for.

A well-earned point for you.
