Basically an Opel Kombi with all the options fitted including  "Woody" side trim

Very good. This indeed the 1968 prototype of an "Opel Commodore Voyage". It never made it into production, btw.

This prototype was shown just one decade too early - around 1980 the german consumer began to accept and buy luxury station wagons like the MB W123T. Another "Would have been great..."
