I was quite sure it would be you  ;)

Yes, it is a Cottin-Desgouttes, rebodied in 1935. "It had a 6 cylinder engine of 80 x 130 mm. The wheelbase is approximately 3450mm, track is 1475mm at the front and 1435mm at the rear. Sadly the engine was lost during the war (it probably went as scrap metal) and the car now has a Stutz straight 8 engine."

This car was rebuilt for Mr Martin Marshall by Capt. Hornsted from a 1925 Cottin-Desgouttes chassis. The 2-seater body was built by Offord and Sons. In building this car, Hornsted has lowered it by 11 1\2 inch with a new front axle and steering connections so as to satisfy Brooklands requirements. Body is of aluminium over a timber frame.
