I've been waiting for this one to come up since it first appeared on the Rookies board, but in the event I was defeated by the time differential in the UK (we're an hour behind everyone else in Europe...) and was pipped at the post by just a few minutes!
But I was going to say it was an LMB Debonair, as it could well also have been since Leslie Bellamy did a deal with Edwards to fit their body to his chassis.
Although it was produced until 1962, when Bellamy retired completely from the car industry, the Debonair was first introduced by the Edwards Brothers at the Racing Car Show, Olympia in January 1961.
So strictly speaking the 1962 date is only correct if it's an LMB Debonair; if it's an EB Debonair it should be 196!!
Anyone know how to tell the difference between an EB and an LMB Debonair? Quiller? Djetset?
