Based on 1936 Alfa Romeo 8c chassis 412002 ,modified in 1956 for Bob Hanley by Wynn Motors of Los Angeles, who shortened it by 8in ,put in a 6c2500 engine & put on a Glasspar body.
It was nicknamed "Backyard Bomb" when a photo of it was put in a local newspaper.
Long term Alfa enthusiast Simon Moore tracked down the remains of this special in the '80s & also the
original 8c Alfa body which had ended up on a Ford chassis with Jaguar power !
Over the intervening years it was restored to its original form.
