I agree with the implications of Allemano's question in that although it looks like an inter-war car, it was probably built in that form in the 1950s.
The heavily profiled knock-on wheels look familiar but I can't place them, and they look to be at odds with the rest of the car.

KHX registration numbers were issued commencing September 1938.
Which probably (but not necessarily) means the car on which this is based also dates from 1938.
