If I were a nit-picker, I'd say that yes, the company existed for more than 10 years.
But here's a hint: it produced cars for just a few years, starting just before the 20th century

Rather much luck that I decided to go through the manufacturers' list starting at the letter A, not going backwards from Z.

And that there still exists a Bardon looking very much like the puzzle picture.
