Is it an Italian military creation? And could Fiat stand behind it?

This is the 1935 La Licorne, a military amphibious vehicle from France.
Apparently it sunk on its maiden voyage!

This is what I have found....A French businessman and taxi operator called Ulysse Texier de la Caillerie invented the predecessor to this in 1928 and called it the 'Comete'.
This is a later version built in about 1935 by Licorne (previously Corre Le-Licorne) along the same lines as the Comete, it was shown to the French army in 1936 who did not want to buy it. I'm not sure what it was called, maybe just 'Auto-Amphibie'
In 1998 a group of French enthusiasts made a loose recreation using the original plans.
I think the previous statement I made about it sinking on its maiden voyage maybe a myth.

Ok, the name I was after was Laffly V15T.
The Laffly V15T was a French light 4WD artillery tractor used during World War II. It was used to tow the 25 mm SA anti-tank guns.
The Laffly company itself only manufactured the first batch of 100 V15s, the rest of the production being taken over by La Licorne company. I'm not sure that this one derived from one of the firsts V15T, but this is how it's called where I found this.
But You found the car and the point is yours!
here are some picture of Tessier's Comete and its recreation...(they were waiting for further quizzes, but....)
