Wild guess:

An Airline sedan by T.J. Richards & Sons in Australia, after they were absorbed by Chrysler-Dodge-De Soto Distributors (Australia) Pty Ltd. The winged logos on the spats are dead ringers for those on Chrysler Airflows in the US.

Well it's not easy to answer...but I'll say it is correct...this car was thought for the British market, built and shown in the UK, but not designed and equipped by UK minds.

Australia will lead you well out of the track, but the Chrysler connection is real.

Interesting as Eyston's AEC-diesel-engined record car that was the subject of a previous PJ puzzle (PJ161) was said to have been built on "an old Chrysler chassis" by the Delaney works.

Last year the german company Goldt had claimed on their website that this car has been their 1933 in-house development.
The text says that it has been their Diesel record car that has achieved a top speed of 193 km/h on a road between Cappeln and Eckernförde...

Pure fake!

After I´ve contacted them to ask what it´s all about, they´ve removed it completely...

That was an experimental job. It appears to be in the lobby of a hotel. Or somewhere just as plush.
