Yes, it's a Beetle designed by Sergio Sartorelli and built by Ghia around 1958-ish.
What is it commonly known as (think it's just a direct translation into Italian but it sounds so much nicer!)?

That's it!
Think it just means 'Beetle' but then so many other words seem to as well; maybe they're all different types of beetle!
