From the OED:

concept = Idea of a class of objects; general notion.

Actual show/ideas cars are what we think of as concepts these days, but it can be a concept even if it's still in your head!

I am ok with posting newer cars once & awhile, so I do. For me at least, it is better than always posting vehicles that are older than the puzzle poster & the puzzle solver combined! ;)
