Frank Fisher of Berwyn, Illinois built the car. Ford chassis with a Lincoln engine. Built between 1953 to 1955, no one knows the date of the final finishing of this car. ;)

Yes.  Apparently he was a boat-builder!

As far as I know (confirmed by a reknown specialist) all this is correct, but this car was never named the Chicagoan.
The confusion probably comes from Frank Fisher Enterprises being erroneously quoted as located in Chicago, not Berwyn.

In fact, the Chicagoan is a totally different, and well documented car.

Neither do I!
That was meant to be a 'Quote'; I must have pressed the wrong button, but I shouldn't be able to then change  your post.  This has in fact happened before but thought Otto had fixed it!

Edit 10/6:
I've returned your original post to what it was without my modification and I've re-posted as I meant to write it in the first place.  It's slightly out of place now and appears below rather than just after your post!

It's still not right that I (and others) can modify others' posts!

Yes, I think you're right.
I've therefore modified the heading.
Thanks.
