Sbarro Tiger, 1973 based on Bertone Panther, 1968. Although mainly known for his superb classic replicas, Franco Sbarro created the striking Tiger 2-seater coupe in collaboration with Panther. Power was courtesy of a 6.3 litre V8, enough to propel the Tiger to over 160mph. The project never saw production but remains a superb example of Sbarro’s 70’s race car styling

Yes!
Apparently one car was made, being shown at Geneva in 1973.
After that it seems to have found its way to Bob Jankel's Panther Westwinds (I wonder if that's where the name for his company came from?!), which is maybe the collaboration you are referring to above, where some modifications were made with a view to producing the car, which of course Panther never did.
