This is the Simca Week-End prototype from 1954.
It is based on the Aronde chassis and bodywork is by Facel.
It was presented to French film actress Brigitte Bardot, who was then 19 years old.
The series production of the Week-End lasted from 1955 to 1956.
This prototype is shown at the Lane Motor Museum.

Wendax, we are all stunned by your knowledge.
Are you a professional historian?  Maybe a keeper of archives?
Your knowledge of old and new, rare and common, and whatever kind of vehicle is quite simply stunning.  What kind of database do you have?  A photographic memory?!

Well, I must disappoint you. I'm not a professional historian, just a mathematician working in the IT business.

In this case, the puzzles just perfectly fitted my special interests: German and French cars, and especially microcars. And I must admit, as I saw these puzzles moving towards the end of the Rookie chain, I prepared the answers. So you can see, no witchcraft involved. Well, being interested in automotive history for about 40 years, I seem to memorize just the necessary keywords in order to google some helpful information, or I know in which books to look. But don't worry, I still have the feeling that most puzzles in here leave me clueless.
