Title: Solved - NEH 912: Vauxhall VXPlus

Bizarrely I saw this actual car parked in Edware Road, London, in the mid-1980s, but sadly didn't take a photo of it. I forget the exact name, but it was VX something, and featured in Motor magazine as well.

Well if you add the 2 names you've given me together you get the right answer, so I think really you've solved it... VX something you said, then Vauxhall Plus, and the correct answer is Vauxhall VXPlus, so I think you've (finally!) earned your point!

Post by: Djetset on March 25, 2011, 05:23:35 PM: This prototype used the Vauxhall V6 engine, which certainly existed in 2.8-litre injection form, so the 2800i bit sort of makes sense, but the year is certainly pre-1978 as it appeared originally in Motor magazine in 1976.
