So it was easy!
Most Tempo Matadors were fitted with VW engines but for the US market they had an Austin A50 engine. Maybe for the Americans amongst us it was easy!
1 point for you anyway.

Only the first Tempo Matador model had a VW engine. VW soon stopped selling engines to Tempo, because they didn't want to have a rival to their Typ 2 van. So, Tempo changed to Heinkel engines. But those weren't too reliable. So they changed to Austin engines, later (already under the flag of Hanomag) accompanied by Diesel engines, first Hanomag, later Mercedes-Benz. By the way, the Austin engines were still fitted, when the Tempos had already become Mercedes-Benz models!
