It began in 1949 as the Alcoa Aluminum-bodied Proto-type Jeepster Coupe

That is correct enough to earn you your point.
It was known within Willys-Overland as "Project 6100", the Willys Coupe, and was based on the production Jeepster with an Alcoa aluminium body.  It was rejected due to the high cost of aluminium.
