I have this name in a book as "Kreibich." Is that an error or just an alternate spelling?

I'll do it tomorrow from my other computer, where I have the pictures stored.
'i's and 'j's are often the same letter in some European languages so they are pretty well interchangeable.
Theyr'e often spelt when used within English according to the pronunciation.

Here's the unmodified picture, but I'm afraid it's the same size.

The write-up said:

"Designed by Vaclav Krejbich (Czechoslovakia) in 1949, the Krejbich was an experimental 2-seater vehicle. It was powered by a number of 2-cylinder 2-stroke engines built by Jawa ranging from 200cc - 350cc providing power to the single rear wheel. The Krejbich had a top speed of around 80 km/h. It is believed that around 72 vehicles were produced in total."

There were 72 Krejbich built, and according to a Czech website "Not all the Krejbichs are of same size, length of 3300 mm is also known. Also different engines ( e.g. Jawa 250 and 350 ) are used. Also not all of them are build by Krejbich."

That should perhaps be done within the original (solved) thread then, as it is actually the same car whatever it is called. We shouldn't have 2 different threads running for the same car.

That is the answer, albeit that Praha VIII is an (postal code) area in Prague.

I know that. But isn't that the same for many cars that there is a simple explanation what is behind it?
VK 48 is the name according to my Czech source.

To be honest, I have seen multiple sources on the web and in in my Czech book which show this to be a VK 48.

I think it would be better to call the thread VK 48 designed by Vaclav Krejbich in 1948 then go for what I deem a historical incorrect title.
