I have received a communication from the son-in-law of the designer and builder of this car.
There is, as we thought, no Tom Tjaarda connection.
The concept was drawn and modelled about 20 years ago and it has taken this long for the design to come to fruition.
The chassis, aluminium body and interior are all hand-made. The wheels are made from a billet. The engine is a Ford 351W bored to 377 cu in with approx 650 bhp and it has a ZF 5-speed manual.
Robert, the builder's son-in-law, is available to answer any questions anyone may have.
It is certainly a beautiful car and a fantastic hand-made job. Sounds pretty quick too...!
