What's this, by whom, from when?  for 1 point..

Google Image Search continues to raise its ugly head on AutoPuzzles.
For the sake of our newer members who may not be aware of past discussions on it, Google Image Search as a means of solving puzzles is banned on this website.

AutoPuzzles is primarily a game of automotive knowledge, not of who can copy and paste the quickest.

We ask all members to remember and respect this, and retain the right to ask puzzle-solvers how they came to their answer.

Have fun!

#2
Fiat 1100/103 TV Sport Wagon by Pininfarina. A one-off made in 1954, part of a series of interesting spostscars on the same base, that also included different type of coupes 2- and 4-place.

[sources: some Pininfarina-marked pictures in my archive and the info collected in my book "Fiat Nuova 1100 fuoriserie". Not used Google Image Search  ;).]

That's the car, yes.
I know you of all people don't need to use Google Image Search so no explanations necessary!
However, I don't have it as 1954 but another year; I just checked again and still don't see it as '54 but I hesitate to argue with you!  But is 1954 right?

I'll double check the captions on the back of the photos (just to see if I've recorded it wrongly in my digital files), but yes, it should be 1954.  ???
The base car was launched in that year, and Pininfarina soon made the regular 2-place coupe and this prototype. Which is the year according to your source?

I have it as 1956.
Below is the Coupe version, which I have both as 1954 and 1955...!
Lots of misinformation out there!

I have 1956 too.

Thanks thorax; I'll put that in the heading but if als15 comes up with evidence to the contrary I can always change it.

Point to als15 and puzzle solved anyway.

Probably you are right: the pictures are not dated, but Pininfarina was used to putting a progressive number to the cars pictured.
This is no. 693, so it's later than the second version of coupe (the one wiht panoramic rear window) marked 673, that should be 1955. The most close later I've in my archive is the 600 Eden Roc, number 718, that for sure has been unveiled at Geneva 1956, in March.
So, this one should be late 1955 or early 1956.

Thanks.
So probably the coupe I've posted, being the earlier version without the wraparound rear window, is from 1954, whilst the later coupe is from 1955 - which might account for confusion on some websites?

I think so. And there are also other versions of the same car: the regular 1957 2- and 4-place coupes and the "american" one-off with fintails.
