An easy rookie point from the "I can't believe this hasn't been a puzzle" file (though it's certainly been posted)  ;)

For 1 point, ID this car's make and type.

Intermeccanica Indra from the early seventies? I don't know the exact year of that particular car. Perhaps 1973.

Otto Puzzell

The year was not required for this Rookie puzzle.

Point for you!
You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!

Wendax

To be precise, it is the Intermeccanica Indra Fastback Coupe, as it was also available as convertible and hardtop coupe.

Allemano

A brilliant looking car, but unfortuntaly famous for its unreliability.

bentleybob

Odd that, wasn't it based on Opel mechanics? Or was that only Bitter?

Wendax

It was based on the Opel Diplomat and can be regarded as a Bitter CD predecessor, as Erich Bitter was involved in the Indra project, too.

It had a nice feature article in Octane magazine a couple of months back.
