« on: November 05, 2011, 06:58:26 AM »
READ CAREFULLY:

Try to identify this car.
If you want to play fair, find the answer the old fashioned way.
If you want to cheat, you can easily find it via Google Image Search.
If you are dumb, here's the answer:  - M.J.G. -, (right click and copy to read it.)

it's a game, if you like to play it go on!

(BTW: if you know the car, don't be afraid to answer immediately!  ;D )

Yes, but the name is not obscure to Autopuzzlers.

You mean he built another car? A streamliner as well?

He built at least 1 other car, featured here..but I won't call it a streamliner.

It is the 1928 Gérin, independent suspension, unit body made of light alloy.

The first appearance of Jacques Gérin on AutoPuzzles was this one:

Esatto!
Great pictures!
I found my picture in an old magazine of the 20s...that was really obscure to me!
1 well deserved point to you!

I found the solution by chance, when looking through the book "Best of Christophorus 1956-1962". There was an article in this Porsche magazine sometime in the 1950s about the development of automobile aerodynamics, where the puzzle picture was shown as a drawing. I had never expected to find a non-Porsche puzzle solution in there.  :D
