Maybe enough has been posted about the Serenissima picture which was my NEH 1333 on AP already, so I've changed the puzzle pic and number!

Maybach SW38 by Spohn, but post war,
It was first delivered as SW38-Standard-Pullman-sedan, 4dr, 6-light, 7seat LWB in dark-green/black ; chassis# 1999 ; engine# 11440 ; new price at delivery  on 31 May 1938: RM 19,846
1950 rebodied to a 'Ponton-Cabriolet' (= 4dr-4lights-4>5seater) in grey/blue ; chassis# still 1999 ; with SW42-engine # 11719, for DM38,000.
The car was on the road in the Hamburg area 1955-61, then laid up until 1995, then restored ...

I'm very curious to know what is stored behind the opening panel in the front wing/fender! Could it be the spare wheel, battery, etc., Bristol-style? If anyone knows...  ;)

Most of the post war Veritas cars were built by Spohn – quite attractive I think. (I definetly don't mean those terrible private client works!!)
