1955 (54) DODGE (Fire) Granada Convertible.
March 1954 issue of Popular Science was the “…first car ever built on conventional chassis with a one-piece, all-plastic body, Granada even has bumpers, structural body members and body-attaching brackets of glass fibers. Car is 211″ long.”

Up to a point, yes.
I'm quite a fan of the fifties US concept cars and have Googled endlessly for pictures of them for some years.  I've posted quite a few of them as puzzles here over the past couple of years, but this Dodge Granada has never ever come up; that's why I posted it and I thought it would be quite hard..
The Google Image Search has been fully discussed elsewhere, but if that is being used it is spoiling the game.  I'm not going to spend hours researching puzzles that have never been posted before only to find them solved instantly!  Not that I'm saying that's what you're doing; I'm sure you relied only upon your own automotive knowledge!

It was actuallly found in a dilapidated state a few years ago and was restored to its former glory.
At last I can now merge this puzzle; I thought it was going to languish in the Rookies section forever!
