I had this lined up in my next batch of puzzles but this is a MUCH better photo than I have!!

(assuming it's the same car, that is!)

PEERLESS WARWIK PROTO ?

It is indeed the first prototype for what became the Peerless, and was in fact called a Warwick - which of course the Peerless eventually morphed into!

I also asked for when it dates from so it's locked for you to give me this final piece of information so you can be awarded a point and the puzzle can be moved to Solved.

Here's the unmodified puzzle photo:

 >:(

I'm a huge fan of the Peerless/Warwick cars but only discovered this one fairly recently. I think it's pretty good looking all in all, though the grille opening is a little odd.
Here's my picture:

I thought it was first called Peerless and then Warwick. It is the other way round?

This original car was built as a one-off and called the Warwick. This car inspired the creators to launch a production car based around the same Triumph mechanical bits but slightly larger, which was called the Peerless. When that company went bust, a new company was formed to sell an even further re-designed car which was known once more as the Warwick.... if that makes any sense!

I have seen a side view of the car somewhere in my library and will post it here when I find it.

Here's another shot. The car on the left is the first Peerless prototype proper.
