Off the top of my head the only coachbuilder I can think of who worked on these was Jacques Coune, is it one of his?

I'm especially interested in the story of who, exactly, is locked in the boot.
You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!

Wolfgang denzel created a coupe car based on the BMW 600 in collaboration with Giovanni Michelotti.
The BMW departement was impressed by the car and decided to design a sallon car based on the Denzel/Michelotti project.
Wilhelm Hofmeister was in charge of these prototypes... The BMW 700 was the result. It safed the company which was in financial troubles.

But this car was based on both Glas and BMW elements.
body based on BMW 700, after the 700 was taken out of production.
Under the boot was a Glas 1004 engine hiding!

I forgot to lock it explicitly for SACO. Limo told the story as detailed as required.
Actually it was Glas' last attempt to introduce an inhouse project after the takeover of BMW. Due to marketing reasons BMW wasn't interested in such a car and the projectct was rejected.

Don't call me Solomon, but I give one point for SACO and one for Limo.
