1 point for this car's correct identification and builder:
-
Arista Passy? Or Ghia Aigle?
Panhard Dyna X based of course...
-
Hmmm Arista Coupé Sport Rallye I guess.

Panhard Dyna X-based, yes, but everything else is wide of the mark.
N.B. - Only 1 guess is allowed at a time!
-
Looks similar to your Arista photo, yes, but treatment of rear window is different.
It's not an Arista.

. Bonnet deux-sévres 1955

Close.
Would you like to narrow the name/builder down a bit?

E. Bonnet, not René! Built some cars on Panhard base 1954-1956. This one might be the 1954 coach.

Yes.
I think you've mentioned everything so this one is solved!
It was built by Etienne Bonnet - no relation to Rene!

Thankyou for the pix of this very rare car!

So have I!

I believe the correct name should be Emile Bonnet.
Coachbuilder from Parthenay, he built 3 bodies for competition on the X87 base: 2 coupés and 1 barquette. This is the only survivor.
-
Low.
For one point, please respond and identify this car.
-
french?
-
Yes
-
Arista?
-
No
-
up
-
Panhard junior by Edouard Bonnet ( Parthenay ) !
-
Exactly!
-
Merged.
It was previously solved as having been built by Emile Bonnet (and before that Etienne Bonnet...) but that still seems to have been wrong, so I've changed the title to Edouard.
That must be why it didn't show up on your search.
-
Exactly! Thanks for noticing we had it before.
