This is a GSM 'Sebring' Coupe.  It was a one-off built by the British GSM factory with the intention of racing at Sebring, and originally had a Ford 998cc engine.

GSM (originally from South Africa)  produced the GSM Dart which was later renamed the Delta because of complaints from another company (Dodge?) who had the rights to the name "Dart".

You say this was produced "at the British GSM factory" so surely it must be a different company and hence not a "Delta".  Or did GSM also make cars in Brirtain?

Yes, the cars were produced in Britain in the early 1960s, they were only called Delta in England, in South Africa they were allowed to use the Dart name. The British operation was nowhere near as successful as the S.A company and folded after a year or so and less than 100 cars were built.

What is this car? A point if you know, and a bonus point if you can provide concrete information about who built it
