I think it's based on a Fiat, but no idea about the builder

1960 Abarth 2,2-Litre coupe, coachwork by Ellena/Boano ? I think it was designed by Michelotti, first built by Ellena(Boano), went to several upgrades in engine capacity from 1,9 to 2,4 litre, and was finally built by Allemano who geared up for serial production only to find that market interest was rather limited?

Yes, that's the car.
Well done and now you're only 1 point away from being an Expert, which in actual fact as PJ says you've already achieved pending replies to your posts, so that's it for Rookie puzzles for you now - Expert puzzles upwards only!

Very well done.
