I know Bertone did quite a lot of work for Skoda. So could it be his design for the Favorit?

Don't think so. Bertone was in his cardboard period then (Favorit, Citroen BX)...

In this design did not participate in the Italian designers.

So Skoda did it themselves then.

Yes, it's one of those vehicles - but which?. I asked a designer but the name or numerical designation of a factory prototype. (Czech nationality was a designer, not his surname).

Sorry, I thought your question was "What is it?" and not "Who designed it?"

It's the same car as your image. Is not it a pity to 720 ID (Italian Desing). I enclose a photo of this car. In my puzzle is the forerunner of this prototype. As I wrote from a Czech designer.

Puzzling. Thus Car was developer witheet Wartburg from Eisenach. Initial design by senior Frantisek Kardaus?

It is not a designer Fr. Kardaus. The first co-Ml. Boleslav and the Zwickau in 1967, was the project Trabant P 603 (9 cars were made - 6 engine Skoda 1000 MB, 2 with a Wankel engine and the engine Wartburg.). The second part of the cooperation started in 1970 and produced models with - Š 750/760. In the quest to the Š-720??, the designer who worked on it almost like an Italian Desing, in 1968 - the year before the ID.

By the way did they buy the Wankel engines at NSU/Comotor or did they make the tools themselves while paying license fees to NSU and Felix Wankel? I also wondered how Lada did that: extremely costly since everything differs from regular piston engine...
