This is not a repost but it has been part of a group puzzle in the past.
Base car is obvious but who designed the bodywork and which coachbuilder built it?
Year is also required for the point.
Easy expert point?
I've seen this car before, but I've lost my picture a few years back (due to a computercrash) : I think this is a 1958 Citroën 2CV A.M.P. build by Akkermans, a Dutch company.

Not that one.
You are a year out on the year.
The base car is indeed a Citroen 2CV.
The coachbuilder is not Dutch.
Found it! I knew I've seen this car somewhere ; I've seen it in Reims in a museum a few years back and it's a 2CV designed by Philippe Charbonneaux and build by Jean Antem. Odd thing : the museum said it was build in 1953 and you said I was one year out with my first answer?

Yes, well done.
I would assume the car was based on a 1953 2CV and modified according to my French source in 1957.
Another point for you.
The unaltered photo -
Thanks!
Musée de l' Automobile in Reims is a very interesting museum ; I've been twice now and there are some very strange vehicles there ... ( the first time I went, they just sold a DeLorean the week before, so sadly I mist that one :( ). I recommend it to anybody that's in the area ...
Meanwhile the car is exhibited in the Mulhouse museum:
