I don't know the engine but it could be BMW - I'll search for that information.

Formula Student - I don't think so - more likely a pukka circuit/hill-climb car.
I'll see if I can find more details.....

Definitely not a BMW engine.
The series this car was built for was using 1500cc Italian or French engines.
Not Formula Student either.

I haven't yet found out who built it but I can't yet rule out that it was built by students.
