cecil Kimber and hius wife with a 1926 Calcott?

I can see this one needs a clue to kickstart it.The man in the picture (with his wife) was famously associated with a well known sports car make.

It's a Ruston-Hornsby?
Bert Bertelli?
Angus Sanderson?
Quote from: Wendax on October 12, 2011, 05:10:32 AMBert Bertelli?Bert Bertelli is correct, can you add his wife's name for one point?Locked for you as far as the people's names are concerned. The car make and year is worth another point.

Quote from: Paul Jaray on October 12, 2011, 04:29:45 AMWas he a pilot?Aston Martin was the make in the link between the two men (apologies to the wives for not mentioning them). He was not a pilot. The puzzle car is, of course, not an Aston Martin but there was a tenuous link between them.
