Not Cecil Kimber & his wife.
The car is not a Calcott and was built in the early 1920s, not as late as 1926.

Make of the car is two names.
There is a direct link between Lionel Martin and this man.

Aston Martin was the make in the link between the two men (apologies to the wives for not mentioning them).
He was not a pilot.
The puzzle car is, of course, not an Aston Martin but there was a tenuous link between them.

Bertelli competed at LeMans, Brooklands, the Irish GP and other races between 1929 and 1935, in an Aston Martin
