This should be an easy point.
Make, model and the year it was built will earn you a point.

Vernon Invalid Car by Vernon Industries Ltd. I think this is the first version (Mk1) from circa 1955

woodinsight

That's the car.
I believe it was known as the Vernon Vi-car of 1955.
So, I very pleased to give you your 200th. point - Welcome to the club!

Thanks!

As for the 'Vi-Car' bit, I thought that was what they were called but according to the most comprehensive Invalid carriage site online "...the Vernon Invalid Car (often incorrectly contracted to Vi-Car)". There is so little information about these vehicles though so I'm really not sure either way  :-\

I think to be on the safe side I'll alter the title to Vernon Mk 1....

Here's another pic. The source I took this from does refer to it as the Vi-Car, but also notes that the Ministry of Pensions, to whom it was supplied, designated it as "Model 53", for issue to disabled drivers. But as Barrett said above, there's so little information about these vehicles, that who knows what is accurate and what isn't?
