Testadoro Fiat?
It is a Testadoro, presumably with a Fiat engine.
Built by Arnaldo Roselli & Giorgio Giusti, just one of several different cars built under the Testadoro marque.
The photo was taken in the USA.
Another point for you.

Interesting that, as Testadoro was originally just a [golden] inclined o.h.v. (BMW 328-style) cylinder head for a Fiat 500 engine.
We had a bit about that some time ago.http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=4143.25

Unfortunately the magazine I took the photo from only described the car as a Testadoro.
I am familiar with all the books on Italian etceterini but couldn't pin down any more information on this particular car.
Thank you Allan and I'd be interested if anyone has more information on the puzzle car.

I think it's a Daniela. You can compare it with a picture from Allan's topic:

The man at the wheel, the Frazer-Nash behind and some other details don't seem to be Italian - the car might have been raced abroad. In 1958 one was raced at Bahamas by George Waltman (racing number #87, not sure if this fits - I can't see it clear).

Actually the man looks like George Waltman...
At one of the forums he is said to have bought one of Danielas in 1957, equipped it with a modified Fiat 1100 engine and raced in the States in FJ class.
